Founded in 2019, Markaz Al-Hareem was established to provide women with accessible, high-quality educational opportunities that combine authentic Islamic learning with contemporary knowledge and practical skills. Dr. Haya Hareem is an educator, researcher, Islamic scholar, and advocate for women’s intellectual and social development. She is the Founder and Director of Markaz Al-Hareem, an institution dedicated to advancing women’s education, research, leadership, and community engagement through a balanced integration of Islamic scholarship and contemporary learning.
With academic specialization in Islamic Studies, particularly in Quranic studies, Fiqh, and Ifta, she has devoted her efforts to empowering women through knowledge, critical inquiry, and meaningful participation in society. Her work focuses on creating opportunities for women to excel as scholars, researchers, educators, and leaders while remaining firmly grounded in Islamic values.
Under her leadership, Markaz Al-Hareem has emerged as a platform for academic excellence, research, mentorship, and professional development. The institution provides educational programs, research initiatives, leadership training, and intellectual forums that enable women and young girls to contribute positively to their communities and beyond.
Dr. Hareem is actively engaged in scholarly research and public discourse on issues related to education, women’s development, peacebuilding, religious understanding, and contemporary social challenges. She has emphasized the importance of educational reform, constructive dialogue, and knowledge-based solutions in addressing societal issues and promoting positive change.

Markaz Al-Hareem operates through a growing network of educational centers across Pakistan, with its Head Office in Islamabad and regional campuses in Karachi and Lahore.
